The patron saint festivities in honor of San Roque and San Mateo begin the first weekend of September, with the presentation of the quintos and the commission, and the solemnity of the religious celebrations. The tranquility that normally surrounds the town gives way for ten days to the joy of bulls in the streets, the noise of gunpowder, the uproar of popular dinners and musical performances, etc.
